Cookie Policy

Effective date: August 23, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Digital Box ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on digitalboxit.com (the "Site"), and the choices available to you. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They allow a site to remember your actions and preferences, or to function correctly, over a period of time.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to function correctly. These include a session cookie that keeps the Site working as you navigate between pages, and a security (CSRF) cookie that helps protect forms on the Site from cross-site request forgery attacks.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Site (which pages are viewed, how people navigate the Site) so we can improve it, via Google Tag Manager and the tools it loads.

We do not use advertising or social media cookies. Analytics cookies are optional: they are never set until you consent to them through the cookie banner, and you can withdraw that consent at any time — see "Managing Cookies" below.

3. Cookies We Currently Use

  • laravel_session — Purpose: keeps you securely connected to the Site as you browse. Type: strictly necessary. Duration: expires when you close your browser, or after a period of inactivity.
  • XSRF-TOKEN — Purpose: protects forms on the Site (such as our contact and consultation forms) from forgery. Type: strictly necessary. Duration: expires when you close your browser, or after a period of inactivity.
  • Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*, _gid) — Purpose: help us understand how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are viewed and how people navigate between them. Type: analytics, optional. Duration: up to 2 years. Only set if you accept analytics cookies in the banner.

4. Legal Basis for Using Cookies

The strictly necessary cookies described above do not require your consent under the EU ePrivacy Directive, the GDPR, or similar laws, though we are still required to inform you about them, which this policy does.

Analytics cookies are not strictly necessary, so we only set them after you actively consent through the cookie banner — they are off by default. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see "Managing Cookies" below), and doing so stops any new analytics cookies from being set going forward.

5. Managing Cookies

Most web browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting them. Because the cookies we use are strictly necessary, blocking them may prevent parts of the Site — such as our contact and consultation forms — from working correctly. You can find instructions for managing cookies in the help section of your browser.

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them differently. As noted above, we do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, particularly if we introduce new cookies or tracking technologies. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated effective date.
